The Mystery of the Jewelled Moth by Katherine Woodfine

You may know I did a review for The Mystery of the Clockwork Sparrow on this blog, and here is the review to the sequel:

The Mystery of the Jewelled Moth is thrilling, jam packed and improbable; everything a mystery book should be like. Katherine Woodfine writes with enthusiasm and all of her books are witty and unpredictable.

The main characters, Lilian Rose and Sophie Taylor, return for another mystery. The priceless brooch, The Jewelled Moth, has gone missing and Miss Veronica Whitely, the brooch’s owner, hires them to do their work. The story takes them all over London. From the posh high streets to the East End, the mystery rolls along as they face danger and villains.

I really enjoyed this book because from the very first page, the story is interactive and fun. I recommend this book to any mystery loving bidding detective (a bit like me!) and from ages 8-108! I can’t wait for the next one in the series, The Mystery of the Painted Dragon.
